Manchester United Set to Secure German Forward Lea Schüller from the Bavarian Giants
Manchester United are finalising sealing the deal for prolific German striker Lea Schüller on a permanent transfer away from Bayern Munich.
A Major Signing for the WSL Side
The forward, with six months left on her deal, is known as a prolific goal-getter for both club and country. Having netted over 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 appearances for her country. This signing will be seen as a marquee signing for the WSL team.
Departure from Munich has been anticipated since she was seen holding back emotions while thanking the club's supporters after a win over Bayer Leverkusen recently.
Reports in December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was set to lose one of its leading strikers. According to reports, the formalities for the move have now been completed.
Reliable Goalscoring to Strengthen the Forward Line
The 28-year-old’s signing should represent a major uplift to the team's forward line. Schüller has been highly consistent in front of goal in the Bundesliga.
